Installation Guide

NT Auto Performance exhaust systems are designed for OEM-style bolt-on installation with 1:1 factory mounting points. No cutting, no welding, and no irreversible modifications are required under normal conditions. For best results, installation should be performed by a qualified muffler or exhaust shop.

Before You Begin

Before installation, please confirm:

• The exhaust you ordered matches your vehicle’s year, make, model, and engine

• All components in the box are present and undamaged

• Your vehicle has no prior custom welding, mid-pipe modifications, or aftermarket diffusers that were not previously disclosed

• The vehicle is completely cool before beginning any work

• For valved systems, check that remotes, motors, and wiring are included

If any parts appear missing or incorrect, do not begin installation. Contact us first.

Tools Required

A professional shop will typically use:

• Socket set & ratchet tools

• Torque wrench

• Rubber mallet

• Penetrating lubricant (WD-40 or equivalent)

• Exhaust hanger pliers

• Vehicle lift (highly recommended)

Installation Process

1. Remove the OEM exhaust

Loosen the clamps and unbolt the factory hangers. Support the exhaust to prevent sudden drops.

No cutting of OEM components is required.

2. Prepare mounting points

Lubricate rubber hangers and ensure factory points are clean and aligned.

3. Install the new exhaust system

Fit each section using the original or supplied hardware.

Do not fully tighten the bolts yet—allow room for final adjustment.

4. Adjust alignment

Check tip height, spacing, and clearance from the bumper.

Adjust as needed before locking all clamps and bolts.

5. Torque and seal

Once everything is aligned, tighten hardware evenly to ensure proper sealing.

Valve System Setup (for valved exhausts)

Our valved systems include a wireless remote control for open/close functionality.

• Press the “OPEN” button for aggressive sound

• Press the “CLOSE” button for near-OEM comfort

• Always operate valves at low RPM for longevity

• Some models may support integration with the OEM valve motor (contact us first)

Important Notes

• Minor smell or smoke during the first few drives is normal as oils burn off

• A slight change in tone over the first 50–100 km is part of normal settling

• If tips appear slightly misaligned, loosen the clamps and readjust—do not force them

• Quad-tip systems normally do not require a new diffuser unless your vehicle has aftermarket bodywork

• Never push, bend, or force the pipes into place—this may damage the unit and void fitment support

After Installation

Once the system is fully installed:

• Start the engine and inspect for leaks

• Check all flanges and joints after the first heat cycle

• After 100 km of driving, re-torque all bolts for safety

• Test valve open/close operation (if equipped)

If You Experience Issues

If you believe your exhaust does not fit or encounter any installation difficulty:

• Take clear photos or video of the issue

• Provide your order number

• Share your vehicle’s year/make/model/engine

• Do not modify, cut, or weld the system

Contact us and our team will guide you through inspection or provide a solution as needed.
